Board of Trustees meetings

The Bloom Township Board of Trustees meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 PM at the township office, 8490 Lithopolis Road, Carroll. Check signing and agenda review begin 15 minutes before each meeting. Special or changed dates are posted as soon as they are scheduled.

Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals meets as needed — whenever there is an appeal, conditional use, or variance to be heard. Property owners within 500 feet of the property are sent notification of the hearing, and notices are advertised in the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette. The public is cordially invited to attend.

Zoning Commission

The Zoning Commission meets when an application is filed for a zoning amendment. As with the Board of Zoning Appeals, property owners within 500 feet are notified, hearings are advertised in the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette, and the public is welcome to attend.

Zoning permit applications and related forms can be viewed below, picked up at Bloom Township Hall, or requested through the parking-lot Info Box. Most open as web pages you can read on any device; the Zoning Resolution remains a downloadable PDF.
